Kgalagadi Jazz Festival

Taking place at the Wrenchville Stadium in on Saturday, the 4th Annual Kgalagadi Jazz Festival lived up to its promises with a stunning line up of South Africa’s heavyweight jazz and afro pop singers, the premier festival promised top class entertainment and it surely delivered on exactly that. 

The atmosphere was great as everyone made their way into the stadium, one could feel the excitement in the air. Nombulelo said she had being looking forward to the festival since February, she traveled to Kuruman in the early hours of the morning to avoid struggling with transport or getting into the stadium. Though the security team had issues with people wanting to access the field without tickets, it didn’t stop or tint the great atmosphere.

The crowd could not get enough of gospel heavyweight, Lebo Sekgobela, as the crowd kept requesting more songs every time she had to get off the stage. Bhudhaza honoured Oliver Ntukuzi with a tribute.
