A primary school learner who was allegedly stabbed with a sharp object at his school has the North West Police appealing to the parents to come forward and lay a charge. The incident alleges that a 10-year-old pupil sustained injuries after being stabbed at a school in Ventersdorp on Thursday.
This was later confirmed by police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Amanda Funani. She added that the police are appealing to the parents to come forward and lay criminal charges since no case has been opened with as yet. She also adds that the officers are ready to assist the family and that the matter will be treated with dignity. Reports have been laid out stating that the Grade 4 pupil was allegedly stabbed in his back with a mathematical instrument. It has been claimed that the victim was caught unaware.
